Arco-flagellants lope alongside faithful armies in packs, their lash-like limbs whipping back and forth as they follow their priestly masters to battle. When the enemy is sighted, they are driven into a frenzied killing rage by a potent cocktail of adrenal stimulants and neural kill-signals, whereupon they hurl themselves into battle with no thought for self-preservation or restraint. Hacking and slashing with cyber-implanted flails, pneu-mattocks and cleavers, they fight on dementedly until there is nothing left of their foes but a pile of mutilated corpses. Each Arco-flagellant is ‘armed’ with a pair arco-flails (well, they've been grafted on, so they have no choice really!). There are two different head, left arm and right arm options for each body, including a specific combination enabling you to make the classic Arco-flagellant, Damien 1427. The Battle Sisters make up the vast majority of each of the Orders Militant, gunning down heretic, xenos and traitor alike with their holy trinity of weaponry – bolter, melta and flamer. They are the foot soldiers of the Emperor, his sword of defiance and his shield indomitable. Beneath their thundering bolters countless aliens, mutants, traitors and heretics have met their doom. Wherever they advance across the battlefield the light of the Emperor spreads like a holy dawn, manifesting in miracles that see the bolts and blasts of the enemy turned impossibly aside or the foe consumed by the fires of righteous retribution. The arms of the engine, mounted with enormous flamers, blaze a trail of fiery destruction as it thunders forwards. Among the majority of the Orders Militant it takes long years to advance to the respected ranks of the Retributor Squads. The Sisters that comprise these warrior bands are amongst the most level-headed, imperturbable and bloodily determined of all their kind. They are also amongst each Order’s finest sharpshooters. It is well that all of this is so, for to the Retributors falls the weighty responsibility of providing targeted fire support for their advancing Sisters. In order to best fulfil this role, each squad of Retributors is armed with an array of heavy bolters, multi-meltas and heavy flamers that bring their firepower in line with that of a battle tank. The angelic warriors known as Seraphim fight in the advanced guard of an Adepta Sororitas army. Equipped with San Leor pattern jump packs, they descend from on high and launch themselves at the enemy lines, using shock and awe to shatter formations before their fellow Sisters open fire. Each Seraphim wields a pair of pistols, chosen from amongst the holy trinity of weapons. Bolt pistols are used to spit hails of death as the Seraphim arc through the sky, hand flamers spew burning torrents to immolate packed ranks of foes, whilst inferno pistols fire focused beams of heat that melt through armour and flesh with contemptuous ease. The kit builds five Seraphim. The Seraphim each carry two bolt pistols, though two of their number can instead be equipped with hand flamers while two more can bear inferno pistols. One model can be assembled as a Seraphim Superior, armed with a bolt pistol or plasma pistol in one hand and a choice of bolt pistol, chainsword or power sword in the other. Custodian Wardens are known amongst their comrades as level-headed and endlessly patient watchmen. Upon accepting the robes that mark their station they swear binding oaths to fight as immovable sentinels, a living fortress of auramite and sinew that no foe will ever breach. Squads of Vertus Praetors swoop into battle astride powerful Dawneagle jetbikes. Veteran warriors who have seen conflict on a hundred worlds, these Custodians know the true value of speed: not simply to bring the enemy to bear, but to direct their might precisely where and when it is needed most. Wherever they see their comrades hardest pressed, there the Vertus Praetors strike like golden lightning to bolster them. They scream across the battlefield, rapidly outflanking and encircling the heaviest enemy vehicles – even enemy aircraft are not safe, for by combining their fire Vertus Praetors are able to weave airborne webs of flakk into which hurtling enemy craft slam with terminal results. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a squad of 3 Vertus Praetors. Astride their Dawneagle jetbikes, they wear somewhat less bulky armour than the other Adeptus Custodes warriors, in order to maintain lightness – while they are still protected by auramite chest plates, shoulder pads and helmets, they wear woven trousers, boots and robes. The armour that they do wear is covered in finely sculpted sigils of the Emperor, with Imperial eagles, lightning bolts, gemstones and filigree adorning every surface, with the jetbikes they pilot featuring similar details on the aggressively-shaped cowling. The Praetors carry interceptor lances and misericordia, while the Dawneagle jetbikes are armed with a choice of hurricane bolters or salvo launcher – whichever you choose, they’re visible at the front of the vehicle, with the engine and weapon feeds visible in gaps in the cowling. The controls feature a large screen, with plenty of dials and buttons. The kit can also make a Shield-Captain, who is distinguished by his bare head. This kit comes as 111 components, and is supplied with 3 Citadel 75mm Oval stands, with flying stems. -
A workhorse not only of the toxic Martian skies, but of distant worlds at the forefront of the Tech-Priests' expansion for millennia, the Archaeopter is an agile fixed-wing aircraft. Piloted by a member of the Pteraxii caste, whose legs and scapuli superior are hardwired into its controls, the nano-carbon fibre-weave of the Archaeopter's wings is capable of morphing – a property it shares with the Pteraxii flight packs. This affords great manoeuvrability and enables it to operate within changing pressures as they provide heavy fire support, saturating the foe with fire from their fearsome array of armaments. The Archaeopter Stratoraptor is heavily armed, its weaponry featuring two cognis heavy stubbers, two heavy phosphor blasters and a twin cognis lascannon. The Archaeopter Stratoraptor can also be upgraded with chaff launchers to thwart incoming enemy fire. If you're after a dogfighter to clear the skies of enemy aircraft or some aerial fire support against ground targets, look no further than the Archaeopter Stratoraptor. This kit can alternatively be used to build an Archaeopter Fusilave or Archaeopter Transvector instead, meaning that regardless of which unit you assemble, you'll end up with plenty of spare components for customising your collection. Archmagos Dominus Belisarius Cawl was already old at the dawn of the Imperium, over ten thousand years ago. During that span of ages the Tech-Priest has served as a Forge Lord, a Lexico Arcanus and a renowned Magos Biologis. On the battlefield Cawl is a force to be reckoned with, fearlessly scuttling into the thick of the fighting, assessing threats and broadcasting carefully planned orders to his troops. Most enemy fire is thwarted by his force field; however even when parts of his mechanised body are blown off, cables snake out in a whir of activity to effect immediate repairs, or swarm anything that dares comes close… This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble Belisarius Cawl, Prime Conduit of the Omnissiah. Towering over his Adeptus Mechanicus brethren, he stands much taller than even other favoured Tech-Priests of the Omnissiah, with countless augmentations distorting his barely-human frame. He carries an Omnissian axe, which acts as a convenient mounting point for an array of sensors and his voice broadcasting unit, and an arc scourge – this arcane energy weapon is covered in cables, sensors and extra appendages. This theme of augmentation is continued throughout – Cawl’s robes are not-quite covering a massive amount of robotic extensions, with several extra legs, prehensile arms and cables dragging along behind him. A scryerskull hovers above, and there are several symbols of the Machine God dotted about the miniature. Owing its origin to the lost knowledge of millennia, the Onager Dunecrawler is based on the Mars Universal Land Engine; itself inspired by the bad-tempered beasts of burden that transported their masters across Holy Terra in ancient times. The Onager Dunecrawler, rather than being a mere people-carrier, is absolutely brimming with advanced, powerful weaponry capable of reducing worlds to wastelands. A light walking tank, the Onager Dunecrawler features four crab-like legs with optional armour plating. The armoured cabin and reactor are complemented by a huge variety of modelling options, with searchlights, smoke launchers, cognis manipulators and mindscanner probes; and the cupola can be modelled closed or open, featuring a Princeps wielding a heavy stubber. You get a massive amount of configuration and customisation available even before applying weaponry. On the subject of weaponry, included in the box are four variants: an eradication beamer, twin phosphor blasters with sensors, a neutron laser featuring a coaxial cognis heavy stubber or an Icarus array - an awesome anti-air assault package comprising twin autocannons, a gatling flak launcher, an armour-piercing missile launcher and a radar dish. Included with this 119-component multi-part plastic kit, making one Onager Dunecrawler, is a small Adeptus Mechanicus transfer sheet and a 130mm round base. -
