Wargamer Vilnius presents you with the first Old World event of the year! The event will take place on 11th of May at the Wargaming Club, with hopefully more Old World events to follow!

Event information:

  • 16 spots in the tournament
  • Armies of 1250pts! No extra restrictions to army building. You can proxy models and units within reasonable limits 😊
  • You can use bases your models are equipped with but try to get the correct TOW bases. If you have a unit that moves in a rank-and-file order, make a movement tray that’s the real size of the unit.
  • Painting is not necessary, but paints will affect your overall score at the end of the tournament.
  • 3 rounds of games
  • 2.5 hours per game round!
  • Fixed terrain on tables. The tables will be different from each other.
  • Army lists in the paper! We won’t collect them before the event, but you need to have a copy with you for the event.
  • We will use ‘Secret deployment’. Before the game, you don’t have to present your army to your opponent – instead, when you deploy a unit, tell the opponent all the visible information about the unit.
      • Visible information: normal weapons equipped, armor, BSB, unit upgrades (champion, flag, musician)
      • Invisible information: Any magical weapons, items, and flags.
  • €12,50 for the entry.
  • Daily communication and extra info about the event will be found on Wargamer Discord, in the channel #warhammer-old-world
  • Cannot make it to the event / you’ll be late on the tournament morning? Call/ping/whatnot @.yms.7 on Discord

1000+ points: 20-0

In addition, there will be 0-10 painting points, judged by an outside judge. So, there will be a maximum of 70 points for one player.

Paint criteria:

The painting judging operates according to the following criteria.

i) General impression 0-2 points:

0: The army has unpainted or only primed models. Models are broken or units consist only of bases.

1: The army is entirely painted. All models are intact, and each has a suitable base of the correct size. The models create a cohesive military force.

2: The army is entirely painted, and the painting quality is meticulous. Details are discernible on the models, and when looking at the army, the eye happily moves between different units. The army embodies a unified theme.

II) Painting techniques 0-3 points

0: The army has unpainted models.

1: The entire army is painted using at least three colors (Games Workshop refers to this as “battle ready”).

2: Painting involves the use of at least three colors as well as shading and highlighting.

3: The army is a work of art. The boundaries of shading and highlighting are beautifully blended, and small details, such as eyes, are all painted.

III) Basing 0-2 points

0: The army has black, unpainted, and “sandless” bases. Basing has not been done.

1: The entire army has painted bases.

2: The entire army has uniform bases, made using various materials such as corkwood, grass, and/or different natural elements.

IV) Configuration and assembly of miniatures 0-3 points:

0: The army has shortcomings, such as missing parts.

1: The army is assembled “out of the box,” meaning each model is as it comes from the store. Higher categories fall to this score if the scale of the models does not match (there are toy dinosaurs and toy dinosaurs).

2: The army has stylishly used parts from various miniature products, resulting in a unique outcome. Such an army is not owned by anyone else.

3: In addition to the previous point, the army demonstrates exceptional finesse, for example, a significant number of self-made (greenstuff) sculptures. This army is craftsmanship and radiates dedication to the hobby.

Scenarios will be published on the 29th of April in Discord.

Tiebreakers area follows in descending order:

1. Total game points + painting points
2. Total score from all games
