Situated on the shores of the Long Lake, Lake-town is a place of wooden jetties and houses standing upon wooden pillars. It is a place of busy trade, with packed fish markets making up the bulk of its narrow streets. Creaking wooden jetties jab out into the Long Lake itself – these wooden structures were infamously swamped in flame by the great Smaug the Terrible, who met his final fate here at the hands of Bard the Bowman. This detailed scenery piece allows you to build a Lake-town house. The Lake-town House features a great deal of modularity, meaning multiple kits can be easily converted to create your own Lake-town settlement. Haleth is the eldest son of Helm Hammerhand, and heir to the throne of Rohan. When armies of the Hill Tribes come to bring ruin, Haleth takes up arms without hesitation. Unlike his older brother, Háma would rather sing of epic battles than partake in them. However, he is still more than capable in his own right and is particularly adept with the use of a bow. This multipart plastic kit builds both Haleth & Háma, on foot and mounted, as skillful leaders for an Army of Edoras force. All four miniatures have multiple head options with choices between helmeted and unhelmeted. Rohan is a proud realm that has ever stood against evil, yet it is no stranger to war and turmoil. Even now, bands of Dunlendings and scouting Uruk-hai raid the villages and settlements, killing people, destroying farms, and burning whatever buildings remain standing. This multipart plastic kit builds a significant Rohan Stronghold for your armies to fight over in the Middle-earth Strategy Battle Game. The six houses offer a number of assembly options with double-sided house walls – each with different details – and a choice of decorations for the timber roof lintels. Each can be built with one of three porch options, and the kit also includes a number of fences, barrels, and ropes for you to further decorate your houses. Both watchtowers include a warning bell with which defenders can sound the alarm, and are proudly adorned with the horse-head icons of Rohan. Each palisade includes a walkway that is 25mm wide to accommodate archers or fighters manning the walls. The palisade gate can be assembled to open or close freely, and can hold a removable crossbeam to allow defenders to lock the gate. This kit also includes eight ladders to reach the palisades, of which four can be connected to make a pair of taller ladders for infantry to reach the watchtowers. In times of war, the warriors of Rohan will take up arms to protect their homes and villages against any who would seek to invade their lands. When the armies of the hill tribes gather outside Edoras, these hardy warriors stand defiant, felling Hill Tribesmen with sword, axe, bow, and spear. This multipart plastic kit builds 24 Rohan Warrior infantry, ideal for defending positions while the nimble cavalry attacks. They can be taken by a variety of Good armies, including Kingdom of Rohan, Defenders of Helm's Deep, Army of Edoras, Defenders of the Hornburg, Men of the West, and Realms of Men. This multipart plastic kit builds 24 Hill Tribesmen infantry, ideal for flooding the battlefield with overwhelming numbers.
