The Rhino is the most widely used armoured personnel carrier in the Imperium. Based on ancient STC technology, the fundamental design is robust, reliable, and easy to maintain, with an adaptive power plant that can run off a wide variety of fuels, making it perfect for the wide-ranging armies of the Great Crusade – and the wars of the Horus Heresy. As such, the Rhino chassis serves as a basis for many other war machines, and these transports are produced in their thousands – several distinct patterns are in common use throughout the galaxy, with the heavily-armed Deimos being the most widespread amongst the Space Marine Legions. This multipart plastic kit builds one Legion Rhino Transport, in the distinctive Deimos pattern. This efficient transport vehicle has the capacity to carry a 10-man squad of Legionaries across the battlefields of the 31st Millennium, with room for characters to join the unit. Protected from enemy fire by thick armour plating and its defensive smoke launchers, the Legion Rhino Transport is armed with twin-linked bolters, and can be further customised with a range of weapons and utility gear. This kit includes the components to add a pintle-mounted havoc launcher, heavy bolter, heavy flamer, multi-melta, or a combi-weapon with five configurations (bolter, flamer, melta, plasma, or volkite), as well as a searchlight, a dozer blade, and a hunter-killer missile. It also offers a number of cosmetic options, such as towing hooks and a choice of a Space Marine gunner, spotter, or closed hatch. This model has no Legion markings, allowing Warhammer hobbyists to paint it in whichever colours they choose – however, the box includes a transfer sheet with 42 optional markings and iconography for the Sons of Horus and Imperial Fists Legions. This kit comprises 102 plastic components, and is supplied with a Legiones Astartes Vehicle Transfer Sheet. In his other hand, he carries either a shell-spitting storm bolter or a massive bone-bedecked relic shield, offering him further protection in battle. The kit also offers the choice of a helmet or a bare head with rebreather, both in the skeletal style of the Chaplains, as well as two different heads for the crozius. A rich and daring Drukhari may surrender himself to the Haemonculi, requesting that his bones be hollowed out, that bands of new muscle be grafted onto his torso, and powerful wings and adrenaline dispensers be attached to his shoulders so that he is capable of true flight. The Kabal overlords pay handsomely for these veteran warriors to fight for them and as a result the Scourges will often equip themselves with the best weaponry and armour that they can find. It is rare for the Scourges to engage the enemy up close, preferring to lay down a withering hail of fire before flying away out of harm's reach. The Great Unclean Ones are Nurgle’s mightiest daemons. Towering over their enemies, these living hillocks of rotting flesh lumber across the battlefield swinging their rusted weapons, vomiting streams of filth and unleashing diseased magics upon the foe. Great Unclean Ones are terrifying when roused to wrath, wading through enemy ranks, crushing foes beneath their bulk and pulping survivors with their enormous swords and flails. Some toll rusted summoning bells to draw forth fresh daemons, while others unleash terrible outbreaks of magical plague. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a Great Unclean One. This is a truly vile model (in the most positive sense of the word!) – it celebrates its corpulence, with rotten, torn flesh slipping aside on its enormous gut to reveal winding intestines within. 2 different heads are available – one with symmetrical antlers and a foul grin, and one cyclopæan, featuring a hideous daemon tongue which ends in a sinister head – itself featuring a sinister daemon tongue! It can be armed with a massive bilesword or doomsday bell in the right hand, and a large bileblade or plague flail (a remarkable object which is essentially 3 skulls attached to lengths of heavy chain) in its left hand. 6 Nurglings are included, clutching items such as censers, or just hanging about – these can be added to the kit in any way that you see fit. To be promoted from the Skitarii maniples to the Serberys corps is a great honour. They ride swift quadrupedal constructs whose razor-clawed limbs allow them to manoeuvre easily over the most shattered terrain, while their riders are mag-locked in gyro-stabilised positions. Serberys Raiders are long-range scouts and outriders. They excel at outflanking enemy forces and picking off unprotected assets. Advanced ocular arrays implanted into the riders’ skulls are noospherically linked with their mounts, ensuring maximum accuracy, while finely calibrated olfactory sensors and a suite of sensitive augury equipment make them dogged and feared trackers. Serberys Raiders are well equipped for combat at every distance, with galvanic carbines offering ranged punch and finely crafted cavalry sabres for melee combat. The squad’s alpha is also armed with a hard-hitting archeo-revolver. They make for a versatile vanguard unit, able to ride ahead of their fellow Skitarii and even snipe at enemy command assets. With a distinctive two-legged walking tank-shape, the artillery platform known as the Ironstrider Balistarius is a fearsome sight indeed. Gyroscopically balanced, with downlinks providing them with the sum knowledge of their enemies, the deadly accuracy of the Ironstrider Ballistarius would be the stuff of legend, were any survivors ever left to recall it. As a mobile artillery weapons platform, the Ironstrider Ballistarius can be fitted with one of two armament options: a twin-linked cognis autocannon or a twin-linked cognis lascannon. The split-toed legs can be posed in two different configurations, with suspensors that can be modelled at differing angles, and the entire surface of the machine crawls with sensors, data collection modules and antennae. The gunner has four head options; three hooded and one rebreather. This multi-part, 80-component plastic kit contains all the parts necessary to build either one Ironstrider Ballistarius or a Sydonian Dragoon, and features a small transfer sheet and a 105x70mm oval base.
