• It was at the height of Morathi's ascension to godhood that a drop of Slaanesh's own divine essence broke free from imprisonment and fled the cave between realms. Called the Newborn, this cursed hybrid was suffused with both the Dark Prince's power and the residual energy absorbed by Morathi herself, coalescing into twin beings that mirrored each other in body and soul. Perhaps taking a cue from its 'mother's' tendencies towards violence, the daemon known as Dexcessa embodies the physical excess of lethal close combat, taking perverse glee in cutting down swathes of mortals as they dance across the battlefield. Standing several times the height of a mortal, Dexcessa is whirling dervish of taloned carnage on the battlefield, equally capable of disembowelling their foes with claws or the sturdy staff they carry to war. Their shifting, agile body makes it especially difficult for even seasoned warriors to land a blow on the Talon of Slaanesh, leaving the daemon to weave effortlessly through their lines and separate the enemy general's head from their shoulders. The kit is comprised of 50 plastic components, with which you can assemble one Dexcessa, the Talon of Slaanesh, and is supplied with a Citadel 105mm Oval Base. This model can alternatively be assembled as Synessa, the Voice of Slaanesh.

  • Once a sorcerer-king rich in the knowledge of amethyst magic, Reikenor ran afoul of Nagash. Now, in undeath, the Grimhailer is cursed to serve the Great Necromancer, acting as his chief reaper of souls. There are few sights more ominous than the macabre wraith-wizard atop his winged steed, lit by the eerie light of his corpse candles. Through his incantations, Reikenor can summon a wraithstorm – a cyclone of amethyst magic that stirs those souls recently separated from their bodies. His spell incites them to savagely attack their former comrades, a hurricane that hacks and pulls down the living; thus is a dark vengeance delivered to those who would thwart Nagash. Reikenor the Grimhailer is an impressively aggressive-looking and sinister Nighthaunt miniature. His ethereal form is clad in a tattered cloak, beneath which is visible a skeletal mask, and thin arms grasping his weapon – a great scythe known as Fellreaper, which features a grave-sand filled hourglass hanging from a chain – and the reins of his mount, a winged Nightmare named Kyallaron. This steed is magnificent, despite its necrotic status – large, tattered wings sprout from its back, and on the whole it has the appearance of impressively muscular power, even with its ribs visible and its legs being nothing more than bone. Its armoured helm is covered in dripping corpse candles, as is Reikenor’s, and the whole miniature is depicted swooping low over a graveyard scene, a sinister winged skeleton statue providing the support. This kit comes as 11 components to build Rekenor the Grimhailer, and is supplied with a Citadel 75mm Oval scenic base. This push-fit miniature can be assembled without glue and is supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.
  • The Dreadblade Harrows are the officers beneath the Knights of Shrouds. In life, each of these wights watched their leader’s betrayal, neither helping nor hindering. Even for Nighthaunts, Deadblade Harrows are especially discorporate, phantasmal figures who can disappear and reappear at will. They are the Knights of Regret, full of bitter recrimination, who in battle serve as bodyguards and lieutenants or are despatched as outriders. Rearing upon their spectral steeds, they vanish into wisps of mist only to gallop out of thin air elsewhere to carry out the most unchivalrous commands – culling the vulnerable, cutting off retreating warriors, and other heinous tasks. The Dreadblade Harrows are a pair of mounted spectral knights, seemingly a touch more solid than many of their Nighthaunt brethren, but no less sinister. Each is armed with a dreadblade held aloft in their right hand, with their left hands clutching the reins – one set spiked, one set ornate – of their steed. Not much else is visible of the Harrows themselves, with a helmeted skull peering out from beneath their cloak. Their mount is large and muscular; its ethereal skin is torn and tattered, making its ribcage visible, with its head being no more than a skull. The rear of the steed is depicted as tailing off into ethereal vapour, as the Harrow emerges from nothing to attack. This kit comes as 12 push-fit components to build two Dreadblade Harrows, and is supplied with 2 textured 60mm oval bases – these feature the graveyard detritus expected from the Nighthaunt. These push-fit miniatures can be assembled without glue and are supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints.

  • The Invasion Begins The Nachmund Gauntlet is the largest and most stable of the known routes across the Great Rift. Once a lifeline to deliver reinforcements to those cut off from Holy Terra, it is now a channel through which the destructive treachery of the Traitor Legions can flow from the Imperium Nihilus. The forces of Abaddon the Despoiler have bludgeoned their way through the Nachmund Gauntlet, with his herald – Haarken Worldclaimer – at their speartip. Only the hastily defended Sanctus Wall of loyal systems stand poised to resist, already weakened by heretical agents. On the fortified world of Sangua Terra, grand strategies of conquest and defiance are entwined with bold heroism and darkest betrayal. This 120-page hardback book is a Crusade expansion for Warhammer 40,000. It captures the rich narrative of the battle for the Nachmund Gauntlet as Haarken Worldclaimer unveils his grand strategies of conquest and defiance. The book also includes the rules to play narrative games, build and upgrade a Crusade army between battles, and run your own campaigns. PATHS OF RUINATION A narrative introduction to the setting, the trail of destruction leading to the heretic assault on the Sanctus Wall, and the strategies made in preparation. CRUSADE RULES The rules you will need to take your army on a Crusade across the stars. Crusade campaigns allow you to track the development of your army between games, acquiring resources – and injuries – with each victory or defeat, turning the greenest of recruits into hard-bitten veterans over the course of many battles.
