Incredibly detailed, designed to make your scenery pieces stand out on the gaming table by adding extra layers of detail to their bases, Barbed Bracken is flexible plastic scenery with myriad uses. In total, you get 144 pieces of bracken in this kit – plenty for adding to the bases of an entire army, or decorating a Realm of Battle set – with 48 large pieces, 32 medium pieces and 64 small pieces. This scenery can be attached to virtually anything you wish to create thick fields of bracken, and is held firmly in place with a dash of super glue. It can be sprayed with Citadel spray paints – the paint won’t chip or flake off when the bracken is flexed into place, meaning the incredible details will be kept! -
The Citadel Colour Assembly Stand has been expertly designed to work with a range of modular hobby tools to enhance your painting and modelling experience. This wide, stable base features a snug holder to keep a Painting Handle or Painting Handle XL secure and safe while you work. You’ll also find two flexible yet sturdy assembly arms with rubberised jaws to hold components in place while the glue cures, making assembly easier than ever. Several shallow trays along the base allow you to collect the various bits and bobs that tend to pile up as you work. The arms are removable, allowing you to move them to any of the many circular sockets located around the base. The arms have been designed to fit in matching sockets on the Painting Handle XL for comfortably building the largest miniatures. The same sockets you find on this base are also sized to accommodate Sub-assembly Holders, so even the most sprawling projects stay organised and contained. This assembly base is compatible with the newer, ergonomic design of the Citadel Colour Painting Handle, and the older decagonal handle will not fit in the central holder. While you can find matching sockets on the updated Citadel Colour Spray Stick, continued use of canned sprays can degrade the rubber on the assembly arms, so we don’t recommend using them during your priming sessions. Blood Sisters are powerful warriors used as bodyguards to High Priestesses or Bloodwrack Medusae, or as a potent vanguard for the war covens. Each Blood Sister is equipped with a heartshard glaive – a heavy polearm ideal for driving driving through armour and ribs to cut out an opponent’s heart. Blood Sisters can also channel the blackness of their tainted souls into a strike known as the ‘scáth touch,’ solidifying victims into an unmoving crystal statue that remains horrifically aware. The ultimate in cruelty is for a Blood Sister to thrust her glaive quickly enough to tear out a foe’s beating heart even as the scáth touch turns them to crystal, trapping them forever in a state of unimaginable agony. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble 5 Blood Sisters. The first thing you’re likely to notice about these miniatures is their legs, or rather their lack – reshaped in the image of their creator Morathi, everything below their torso has been reshaped into that of a sinister, twisted serpent. Above the this they feature metal waist pieces with attached sashes, and armoured breastplates. The Blood Sisters feature intimidating full-face masks, each with expressions of fury and snakes framing their wild, swept-back hair. Their very presence fills the air with dread, and most who face them are driven mad with fear long before they are killed. Filled with rage, these vengeful spirits fall upon their enemies, tearing them apart with great sweeps of their ancient, magical scythes. In return, those who do stand against them find their pitiful attacks merely pass straight through the Cairn Wraith, making contact with nothing but foul air and tattered robes. It doesn't take long for the Wraiths to punish them for their insolence.
