A Warhammer 40,000 Novel Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner are opposites. Each is obsessed with their own speciality, and their rivalry spans millennia. Yet together, they may hold the secret to saving the necron race… READ IT BECAUSE Explore a story told across millennia that delves deep into a pair of fascinating necron characters, their relationship, and their plans for the galaxy. THE STORY Before the being called the Emperor revealed Himself, before the rise of the aeldari, before the necrontyr traded their flesh for immortal metal, the world was born in violence. Even when they inhabited bodies of flesh, Trazyn the Infinite and Orikan the Diviner were polar opposites. Orikan, a chronomancer without peer, draws zodiacs that predict and manipulate the future. When an artefact emerges that may hold the key to the next evolution of the necrons, these two obsessives enter a multi-millennia game of cat and mouse that ends civilisations, reshapes timelines, and changes both forever. If the being known as Nekrosor Ammentar ever had a true name or identity, it has long since been lost. It is said by some to have been the first to succumb to the Destroyers' madness, and everywhere it goes, murderous insanity follows. Every element of Nekrosor Ammentar’s form has been tailored with the destruction of organic victims in mind. Kill! Maim! Burn! This is Khârn the Betrayer’s mantra, and it has become infamous across the Imperium as a harbinger of carnage to follow. Freeguild Fusiliers are disciplined gunners, trained to plant their heavy pavise shields in the ground and form a defensive line that is effectively a fortress battlement brought to the field. From this position, ranked Fusiliers can unleash continuous volleys of fire, their sturdy fusil-cannons belching hot death and drifting clouds of blackpowder smoke. This multipart plastic kit builds 10 Freeguild Fusiliers, accompanied by a Blackpowder Squire. Each Fusilier carries a huge pavise shield, on which they mount a fusil-cannon tipped with a bayonet. You can build one model as a Fusil-Sergeant, armed with either a brace of pistols or a triple-barrelled slaughter-fusil, and another model as a Fusilier Herald, who a carries a standard and torch with a choice of icons and flames. The accompanying Blackpowder Squire runs up and down the firing line, supplying shot and powder wherever it's needed. The kit includes plenty of different poses, heads, and shield designs, all of which are interchangeable between models, plus two curious gargoylian creatures – you'll be able to keep your Freeguild forces distinct and varied, no matter how many Fusiliers you recruit. This kit comprises 115 plastic components, and is supplied with 10x Citadel 28.5mm Round Bases and 1x Citadel 25mm Round Base. Also included is a Cities of Sigmar Transfer Sheet, featuring 410 Free City icons, Sigmarite cult sigils, and other forms of heraldry. These miniatures are supplied unpainted and require assembly – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints. -
The Maleceptor is a living vessel for the Hive Mind. Warp energy spears from its eyeless cranium to vaporise anything in its path, and those with minds strong enough to survive its keening psychic screams are laid low by its powerful talons. This 55-piece plastic kit makes one Maleceptor equipped with a pair of scything talons, which can be posed crouching or rearing up on its hind limbs. This kit can alternatively be built as a Toxicrene. The full rules for using the Maleceptor and Toxicrene in games of Warhammer 40,000 are included in White Dwarf Issue 40. -

Vulkyn Flameseekers are master beast-tamers who worship the Ur-Salamander, Vulcatrix. These fiery duardin zealots scour the realms for Magmadroth eggs and traces of sacred fire, striking out into the wilderness for months at a time, wielding fyresteel weapons that can excavate hardened rock as easily as they smash through armour. This multipart plastic kit builds a full Vulkyn Flameseekers warband, for use in games of Warcry. These devout duardin are led by a Vulkyn Runefather, who inspires his Scalebreaker warriors to unleash the fiery wrath of Vulcatrix with an array of fyresteel war picks and shovel-like polearms. The warband's Drothmaster is charged with training young Kyndledroths – whose fiery breath belies their size – while the scale-clad Drothblood Thane slays those Magmadroths too furious to be tamed. These miniatures can also be used as part of a Fyreslayers army in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar, using free rules available to download on the Warhammer Community website. Assault Intercessors are amongst the most widespread close-support units in a Chapter's arsenal. Firing their heavy bolt pistols as they close upon the foe, they charge into the fray, where they make short work of their enemies with brutal swings of their chainswords. Assault Intercessors are the perfect Troops choice unit for players who favour more aggressive strategies (or simply like to charge every enemy in sight!), where they can put their brutal close-range wargear to deadly use. This multipart plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a set of 10 Assault Intercessors. The models can be assembled as either a 10-man squad, a squad of 9 Assault Intercessors with a Sergeant or 2 separate 5-man squads, each with a Sergeant of their own. They are each armed with an Astartes chainsword and heavy bolt pistol. There are additional components in the kit that enable you to upgrade your Sergeant models with unique heads, a helmet mag-locked to their belt, and unique tilting plates to help them stand out. Your Sergeants can also each be equipped with a choice of specialist wargear, including a power sword, power first or thunder hammer instead of their Astartes chainsword, and a hand flamer or plasma pistol in place of their heavy bolt pistol. This kit is supplied with 10x Citadel 32mm Round Bases and an Ultramarines Transfer Sheet. -
