Charonite Ogryns are biochemically and cybernetically altered abhumans. Mutilated in mind and body, they are creatures of brute obedience and drug-induced frenzy. The difficult and unstable technologies used in their creation were deemed unholy by the Mechanicum and may, in part, have alien origins. Augmented Abhumans This multipart plastic kit builds 4 Charonite Ogryns, ruthless line-breaking infantry for your Solar Auxilia armies in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy. Their hands and forearms have been replaced by a brutal collection of weapons that amplify their already fearsome strength, so they can rip through armour plating and flesh with ease. They are ideal for the ferocious close confines of boarding actions or the deadly press of melee, where they easily devastate foes. Armed for War The torsos are interchangeable across the legs in the kit, allowing you to customise your brutes, and 2 of the torsos each have a choice of 2 heads – masked or unmasked – with a choice of 2 faces. You can choose from some suitably terrifying weapons – power armour-breaching claws, horde-slaying blades, tank-busting crushers, or the appropriately named shredders. The kit includes interchangeable weapons: – 6 Charonite claws (of 3 designs) – 2 Charonite blades – 2 Charonite crushers – 2 Charonite shredders Each of these brutal implements can be grafted onto the left or right arm of your Ogryns. One of the claw designs can be assembled open or closed, and the crushers each have a choice of crushing device. Rules for this unit can be found in the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy Journal Tactica: The Battle for Tallarn – Part One supplement, available separately. Before war came to Tallarn, few planets could match its splendour and abundance. Then the Iron Warriors came, and fewer planets still would be subject to such spite and ruin. But the people of Tallarn refused to lay down and die, rising up in defence of their ruined world, with the aid of the loyal Legions of the Adeptus Astartes. The Death of Tallarn This gaming supplement for Warhammer: The Horus Heresy details the early stages of the war for the planet Tallarn during the Horus Heresy, with a focus on the use of massed forces of armoured vehicles in battle. Covering both the organisation of the various forces involved in the conflict and the means by which the war was fought, this journal presents a vital resource for recreating these pivotal struggles on the battlefields of the Horus Heresy. This 48-page softcover supplement contains: – In-depth Lore: A detailed look at the world of Tallarn, both before and after the destruction that was wrought upon it, as well as detailed records of the forces that fought upon it. – Additional Missions: A full Historical Mission that allows players to fight the brutal action of The Road to Salvation and experience the harrowing war fought upon Tallarn’s ruined surface. – Solar Auxilia Army List and extras: Includes rules to represent the Toxic Terrain of Tallarn, lost and abandoned cohorts of Battle-automata, as well as updated rules for Solar Auxilia Rapier Sections. There are also rules for Command Tanks for the Solar Auxilia and Legiones Astartes, allowing vehicle High Command options for those Army Lists, and an Armoured Clash Mission pack focused on battles between tank armies. You will need a copy of the Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Age of Darkness Rulebook and Liber Auxilia, both available separately, to make full use of this gaming supplement. -
Crane guns are long barrelled firearms, often carried by two Nan-Gau soldiers, and fixed to a tower shield for greater accuracy. Used in large numbers, these guns can be utterly devastating. Meanwhile, the iron hail gun is a heavy blunderbuss with a large bore, which causes mass destruction at short range. Front Rank, Fire! This multipart plastic kit builds 12 Iron Hail Gunners and 8 Crane Gun Teams, soldiers armed with deadly ranged weapons for your Armies of Grand Cathay in games of Warhammer: The Old World. Add new tactical options with two different types of ranged units, each with its own strengths. Crane guns offer precise volleys of fire, ideal for taking down enemy leaders and monsters, while iron hail guns can be fired on the move, designed to shred infantry formations at close range. Peasant levies are recruited from villages and towns, small settlements that lie outside the towering walls of Cathayan grand cities. These provincial troops are not as well-equipped as the professional armies of the empire, favouring simple weapons such as spears and bows, but they are far more numerous and no less well organised in battle. From the Field to the Front Line This multipart plastic kit builds 20 Peasant Levy infantry soldiers for your Armies of Grand Cathay in games of Warhammer: The Old World. Plentiful and well-disciplined, their value lies in their numbers more than their skill. The peasant soldiers can be equipped with your choice of warbows or long spears, making this a flexible kit that deserves a place in your armies. Customise Your Commonfolk The contents of this box can be assembled as 1 large unit of 20 warriors, or 2 smaller units of 10 warriors – each with their own optional musician, standard bearer, and champion, who can be equipped with a warbow or shield and has a choice of 2 heads. Intranzia Fraye rides into battle atop her Throne of Blame, smiting the unclean while bellowing vox-amplified condemnations. The Melusai Ironscales are crafted from the souls of aelves that blaze brightest with the need for revenge. They serve Morathi as elite warleaders among the Scáthborn and are terrifying martial champions in their own right. This multipart plastic kit builds one Melusai Ironscale, a cruel leader for your Daughters of Khaine armies in games of Warhammer Age of Sigmar. This is a creature born to kill – woven from hate and shadow magic, destined to serve at the forefront of Morathi‑Khaine’s wars, and an ideal addition to any aggressive force. They excel at leading Blood Sisters and Blood Stalkers, inspiring them to even greater acts of violence, while reaping their own grievous harvest with their powerful keldrisaíth weapon. This kit comprises 20 plastic components and 1 Citadel 40mm Round Base. The Blood Stalkers are Morathi’s elite archers, a venomous guard who rain death from afar. Each bears a heartseeker bow, a weapon carved from the wood of the sentient ashdusk tree. The arrows loosed by such bows are bloodseekers. shafts blessed by the Queen and imbued with the same enchantments as those that guide Morathi’s own spear, Heartrender. With uncanny accuracy, these missiles streak across the battlefield to pierce their targets through the heart. In close combat, Blood Stalkers wield scianlar, long daggers forged to absorb the energies from enemies’ vital organs. These are no gore offerings to Khaine, but tributes destined to strengthen the Melusai’s true master, Morathi. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble 5 Blood Stalkers. The first thing you’re likely to notice about these miniatures is their legs, or rather their lack – reshaped in the image of their creator Morathi, everything below their torso has been reshaped into that of a sinister, twisted serpent. Above the this they feature metal waist pieces with attached sashes, and armoured breastplates. The Blood Stalkers feature open-face masks, giving them better peripheral vision and tracking abilities essential to their role as archers – as a nod to their abilities in close combat, each model also carries a sacrificial knife, a scianlar, on their waists. You have the option to build 1 model as a Krone, the unit leader: she can be distinguished by her unique heartseeker bow, modelled with serpentine heads at each end of the handle. The Melusai Blood Stalkers come as 100 components, and are supplied with 5 Citadel 40mm Round bases. This kit can optionally be used to assemble 5 Melusai Blood Sisters. -
