Custodian Wardens are known amongst their comrades as level-headed and endlessly patient watchmen. Upon accepting the robes that mark their station they swear binding oaths to fight as immovable sentinels, a living fortress of auramite and sinew that no foe will ever breach. Each Warden’s oaths are personal, written by the Custodian himself after a full year’s contemplation in meditation upon the precipitous ledges of the Gallowtower. To break these vows would be worse than death to these warriors, and their determination to uphold them bolsters their already formidable wills to something of truly frightening intensity. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a squad of 5 Custodian Wardens. Easily recognised by the ceremonial robes they wear over their auramite armour, they’re typically splendid to behold – as with all Adeptus Custodes, every surface of their armour is absolutely covered in beautiful sculpted details, with gemstones, eagles, lightning bolts and filigree wherever you look. Each is armed with a choice of either guardian spear or castellan axe, with 5 of each supplied in the kit. The helmets, helmet plumes and thigh plates in the kit are interchangeable, allowing your Wardens to be unique. Squads of Vertus Praetors swoop into battle astride powerful Dawneagle jetbikes. Veteran warriors who have seen conflict on a hundred worlds, these Custodians know the true value of speed: not simply to bring the enemy to bear, but to direct their might precisely where and when it is needed most. Wherever they see their comrades hardest pressed, there the Vertus Praetors strike like golden lightning to bolster them. They scream across the battlefield, rapidly outflanking and encircling the heaviest enemy vehicles – even enemy aircraft are not safe, for by combining their fire Vertus Praetors are able to weave airborne webs of flakk into which hurtling enemy craft slam with terminal results. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble a squad of 3 Vertus Praetors. Astride their Dawneagle jetbikes, they wear somewhat less bulky armour than the other Adeptus Custodes warriors, in order to maintain lightness – while they are still protected by auramite chest plates, shoulder pads and helmets, they wear woven trousers, boots and robes. The armour that they do wear is covered in finely sculpted sigils of the Emperor, with Imperial eagles, lightning bolts, gemstones and filigree adorning every surface, with the jetbikes they pilot featuring similar details on the aggressively-shaped cowling. The Praetors carry interceptor lances and misericordia, while the Dawneagle jetbikes are armed with a choice of hurricane bolters or salvo launcher – whichever you choose, they’re visible at the front of the vehicle, with the engine and weapon feeds visible in gaps in the cowling. The controls feature a large screen, with plenty of dials and buttons. The kit can also make a Shield-Captain, who is distinguished by his bare head. This kit comes as 111 components, and is supplied with 3 Citadel 75mm Oval stands, with flying stems. -

Chaos Terminators are heavily armoured veterans clad in debased suits of Tactical Dreadnought armour. They form the elite of their masters’ warbands, for though they are ponderous compared to their power armour-clad comrades, nothing short of a dedicated anti-tank laser can stop a Terminator in full stride. Spiked trophy racks protrude from massive shoulders, the skulls of the enemy a barbaric testament to their wearer’s martial prowess. For ten thousand years Mortarion, Lord of the Death Guard, has crushed his enemies upon the field of battle. Surrounded by chittering Daemon mites, droning flies and noxious plague vapours, Mortarion swoops into battle on vast, creaking wings. the thudding beat of these foul pinions fills the enemy with crawling dread, even as they waft the reek of death across their lines. To even stand in the presence of the Death Lord is lethal, opponents choking and collapsing as they succumb to the myriad plagues that churn the air around him. This multi-part plastic kit contains the components necessary to assemble Mortarion, Daemon Primarch of Nurgle. This is a towering model – the word ‘miniature’ barely does it justice, as he looms over the rest of the Death Guard and gives even Bloodthirsters something to look up to! He is clad in baroque power armour known as the Barbaran Plate – this is covered in rust and rot, with skulls, spikes and Nurgle symbolism on each of the chunky components. Mouldering robes, chains and a rotten cowl hang from this armour, partially covering the system of pipes that feed his breathing apparatus – it is safe to assume that this ventilator isn’t delivering fresh and clean air to Mortarion, rather vile spores and disease. He is armed with 2 foul weapons: a massive scythe named Silence, a rusting yet razor-sharp blade featuring brutal chain-teeth, stained with the blood of worlds and capable even of hacking a Reaver Titan to pieces; and The Lantern, an ancient energy pistol. There are two modelling options for these weapons – one option features the weapons down by Mortarion’s side, the other features a much more aggressive pose. Mortarion features huge, decaying wings – these are modelled with pockmarks, holes and tears, representing the horror and decay of Nurgle’s hordes. Speaking of Nurgle’s hordes, there are plenty of extras with this kit – 2 Nurgling Drones carrying phosphex bombs hang from the chains on Mortarion’s armour, with a further 3 on the base: 1 carries a Chaos icon, one waves a censer and one carries a tank of unmentionably horrid substances. The base itself is detailed with rocks which themselves are being corrupted by the foul presence of the Daemon Primarch.
