Spartan Assault Tanks carry large numbers of Space Marines into the very heart of the battle. Mounting armaments comparable to the Legion’s super-heavy armoured vehicles and protected by heavy layers of armour plating, these tanks are considered by many to be akin to a mobile fortress. Spartan Assault Tanks can be fielded in games of Legions Imperialis in dedicated Legion Spartan Detachments by both Legiones Astartes and Traitor Astartes armies and as allies in Solar Auxilia armies. They can be equipped with a choice of sponson-mounted quad lascannons or laser destroyers, and hull-mounted heavy bolters or lascannons. Additionally, they can be built with or without a tank commander, and optional pintle-mounted heavy bolter or multi-melta. This kit comprises 120 plastic components to build four epic-scale Spartan Assault Tanks for use in games of Warhammer: The Horus Heresy – Legions Imperialis. It also includes a Legiones Astartes Legion Vehicle Transfer Sheet containing 1,130 decals featuring symbols for various Space Marines Legions and numerals, squad, honour, and kill markings.
