Aethon Shaan, Chapter Master of the Raven Guard, embodies the most patient and cunning aspects of his Primarch’s legacy. When he chooses to strike from the shadows, he does so with sudden cold fury, bursting forth with the lightning-wreathed Claws of Severax flashing amidst gouts of enemy blood. This multipart plastic kit builds Aethon Shaan, the Chapter Master of the Raven Guard, for use in your Space Marines armies in games of Warhammer 40,000. With the mighty Claws of Severax, a heavy bolt pistol, and a custom jump pack, he is able to swoop down and tear into the enemies of the Emperor. Perched heroically as though surveying the battlefield, he is a fantastic miniature for painters, and comes with three different head options – one helmeted, one with a rebreather, and another with a hood. Rules for using Aethon Shaan in games of Warhammer 40,000 can be downloaded for free from the Warhammer Community website. This kit comprises 32 plastic components and 1x Citadel 50mm Round Base. This miniature requires assembly and is supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Plastic Glue and Citadel Colour paints. -
A Warhammer 40,000 Omnibus Inquisitor Ravenor and his followers investigate a daemonic conspiracy that stretches across space and time. This is a war that is fought in the shadows, where there will be no respite, and no quarter asked for or given. READ IT BECAUSE As a counterpart to the Eisenhorn series, Ravenor explores new territory both literally and figuratively. This omnibus brings together three novels and three short stories to reveal the arc of Gideon Ravenor's greatest triumphs – and greatest failures – bringing together a cast of compelling characters thrust into a mission that tests them all to their limits. None of them are quite what they seem, and all of them have a story to be told. Some of these stories are brutal and end very, very messily… THE STORY In the war-torn future of the 41st Millennium, the Inquisition fights a secret war against the darkest enemies of humanity – the alien, the heretic and the daemon. When Inquisitor Gideon Ravenor and his band of lethal operatives are drawn into a conspiracy to spread the taint of Chaos across a sector, their investigations take them into the gravest peril through space and even time. Wherever they go, and whatever dangers they face, they will never give up until their mission succeeds. CONTENTS – Playing Patience (short story) – Ravenor (novel) – Thorn Wishes Talon (short story) – Ravenor Returned (novel) – Ravenor Rogue (novel) – Perihelion (short story) Written by Dan Abnett. -
The Red Corsairs are the undeniable masters of the Maelstrom, and they are rightly feared by all who tread too close to this benighted area of the galaxy. Striking out in raiding parties composed of elite Chaos Space Marines and scores of traitor guardsmen, they pillage what and where they want to scavenge material and grow their infernal empire. This packed box is ideal for starting a new Red Corsairs-themed Chaos Space Marines collection – or expanding an existing army – to unleash in games of Warhammer 40,000, and it saves money compared to buying the kits separately. This savage force is led by a Red Corsairs Reave-Captain, a merciless warrior who rules with an iron fist. At his side are Red Corsairs Raiders, renegade Space Marines who have broken their vows to follow the Tyrant of Badab. Veteran Legionaries and Chaos Terminators are also counted among Huron Blackheart's followers, their long years of combat experience further bolstering the Red Corsairs. Traitor Guardsmen are adept at holding objectives or throwing themselves at weakened enemies. When taken together, they are a vicious and terrifying force, ideal for representing a Renegade Warband Detachment – the rules for which are found in The Maelstrom: Lair of the Tyrant – Detachments booklet, available separately. This boxed set builds 36 multipart plastic Chaos Space Marines miniatures: – 1x Red Corsairs Reave-Captain – 10x Red Corsairs Raiders – 5x Red Corsairs Chaos Terminators – 10x Red Corsairs Legionaries – 10x Traitor Guardsmen – 1x Red Corsairs Upgrade Frame The miniatures in this box are easy to customise. Once a sorcerer-king rich in the knowledge of amethyst magic, Reikenor ran afoul of Nagash. Now, in undeath, the Grimhailer is cursed to serve the Great Necromancer, acting as his chief reaper of souls. There are few sights more ominous than the macabre wraith-wizard atop his winged steed, lit by the eerie light of his corpse candles. Through his incantations, Reikenor can summon a wraithstorm – a cyclone of amethyst magic that stirs those souls recently separated from their bodies. His spell incites them to savagely attack their former comrades, a hurricane that hacks and pulls down the living; thus is a dark vengeance delivered to those who would thwart Nagash. Reikenor the Grimhailer is an impressively aggressive-looking and sinister Nighthaunt miniature. His ethereal form is clad in a tattered cloak, beneath which is visible a skeletal mask, and thin arms grasping his weapon – a great scythe known as Fellreaper, which features a grave-sand filled hourglass hanging from a chain – and the reins of his mount, a winged Nightmare named Kyallaron. This steed is magnificent, despite its necrotic status – large, tattered wings sprout from its back, and on the whole it has the appearance of impressively muscular power, even with its ribs visible and its legs being nothing more than bone. Its armoured helm is covered in dripping corpse candles, as is Reikenor’s, and the whole miniature is depicted swooping low over a graveyard scene, a sinister winged skeleton statue providing the support. This kit comes as 11 components to build Rekenor the Grimhailer, and is supplied with a Citadel 75mm Oval scenic base. This push-fit miniature can be assembled without glue and is supplied unpainted – we recommend using Citadel Colour paints. -
